For the first time this year and as a thank you for the loyal and wonderful students we have had the pleasure to teach over the past 6 plus years , we are offering a traditional hand made lamp shade making course. This was offered to the existing and past students and the first term is now full. If the course proves popular then we plan offer it out on Instagram and Twitter after Easter 2019 to give other a chance to give it a try too. Another workshop offered to existing and past students is the chair caning workshop with Brian Crossley, Master Caner with decades of caning experience - this was introduced over the summer of 2019 and proved so popular that we will continue to roll out the workshops on a quarterly basis.

It has been a long time since the last post. I have been using social media more recently and if you want to see what has been happening at the workshops recently then have a look at @upholsteryworkshops at Instagram.
There is plenty of news though: The Monday workshops are now full and we have a fantastic group of stuidents working on interesting and varied projects The Tuesday and Wednesday workshops are full for this year, with some regulars renewing for their 6th year. All change for the Friday workshop from January as I introduce a traditional lampshade making workshop, continue with Brian’s amazing caning workshops and continue the upholstery workshop as a monthly catch-up workshop.. So we are very much still here, still spreading the upholstery love in our usual fun but understated way. To meet demand we have decided to add a new Monday morning weekly class from April this year. We already have a few students registered and are taking bookings now.
We now run workshops on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. These will run in the same way as the other weekly workshops:
Email to register your interest I have been a little remiss these last few months. Apologisies. I have been busy on Istragram though - pop over to @UpholsteryWorkshops to have a look at what we have been up to. But there is a little reminder - we are still here!
